Questions, answered.
What is a certificate of analysis (COA)?
A certificate of analysis is a report from an independent laboratory for one specific lot of a compound. It lists what was measured for that lot, such as purity, identity and net peptide content.
Where can I find the certificate for my order?
Each product page lists the current lot’s certificate. You can also search this library by compound name or by the lot number printed on your vial label, or email support@stackhausresearch.com with your order number.
How do I read a certificate?
Start with the lot number and test date, then check purity, identity and net peptide content. Match the lot number to the one on your vial before you rely on the results.
Is the laboratory independent?
Yes. Results come from a third-party laboratory that is not part of Stackhaus Research.
How can I check that a certificate file has not changed?
Every certificate PDF has a SHA-256 fingerprint. Open Verification details on a card to see it, then compare it with the fingerprint of the file you downloaded.
What does “archived” mean?
A lot is marked archived when a newer lot of the same compound is current. Archived certificates stay public so earlier lots can still be checked.
Need a certificate we haven’t published?
Email support with your order number and we will look for the lot’s documentation.
