Dihexa (N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6)-aminohexanoic amide) is a small angiotensin IV analog that potentiates hepatocyte growth factor signaling at the c-Met receptor — a mechanism distinct from neurotrophin-receptor agonists. In neuronal culture it is used to examine c-Met phosphorylation, dendritic spine density, and synaptic protein expression.
