5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), the cytosolic enzyme that methylates nicotinamide using S-adenosylmethionine as the methyl donor. Because NNMT sits upstream of the nicotinamide salvage pathway, its inhibition is used in cell-based work to interrogate methyl-donor flux, NAD+ pool dynamics, and adipocyte energy handling. Supplied at 50 mg per capsule, 90 capsules per container, with a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for use in controlled in-vitro investigation only.
